Abstract

Achievement results for students at SDN Montong Buak in the subject of social science are still under the minimum passing grade (KKM).. This is due to the lack of teachers in developing innovative learning methods and the lack of use of the media in the learning process that adversely affects the student learning outcomes. Based on this background, the formulation of the problem in this research is how IPS (social science subject) can improve learning outcomes by application poster session class IV SDN Montong Buak, Kopang Central Lombok academic year 2015/1016. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes of sacial science subject grade IV SDN Montong Buak academic year 2015/1016. This research is a classroom action research which includes the planning stage of action, action, observation, evaluation and reflection involving 24 students of class IV as the targets, 1 teacher and 1 student as an observer. This study was conducted in two cycles and in each cycle consisting of 2 meetings.In the first cycle, the active learning activities of students is categorized by the score of 41,the activity of teacher is quite good category with the score o f 14, and the learning outcomes of students scored an average of 74.10 with a opercentage of 72.73% of classical completeness. While on the second cycle, the students' learning activities are very active category with a score of 45, the activities of tea chers is very good category with a score of 18, and the learning outcomes of
