Abstract
This study aims at 1) To determine the level of income of farmers in managing coffee plantations 2) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of farmers in managing coffee plantations in Marente Village 3) To find out strategies in increasing farmers' income in managing coffee plantations in Marente Village. This study uses the interview method with a questionnaire aid to 50 respondents conducted in April-May 2018. The results of the study show that the income of Sagara coffee farmers is divided into two, namely, the land area of 100 ha/ year arable is Rp. 32,658.85 Rp. /LLG/ Year while the land area per hectare of 100 ha/ year amounted to Rp. 25,962.06 Rp. / Ha/ Year for the overall income of farmers in the coffee business While the non-coffee business from the 100 ha/ year arable land area is Rp. 1,143,581 Rp. LLG/ Year while for land area of hectare of 100 ha/ year amounting to Rp. 676,660 Rp. / Ha/ Year. The management of coffee plants in Marente Village has grown without special maintenance and has produced many robusta type coffee with good quality up to the village, sub-district and Sumbawa Besar districts.
