Abstract

This research aimed to find out about social values in The Notebook novel by Nicholas Sparks. There is a lot of things in that novel about the social value so i decided to compare is a social value in the novel and a real life is the same or not and we can fiind the differences in it. According to the data that I collect after i read the whole novel I found four types of social values which is concern, sense of belongings, empathy and loyalty. Those represent about social values according kemndiknas. However the novel is about romance novel we still got the lessons from the novel that related to pedagogical implication.To adapt the social values in to a real life.
