Abstract

The aim of this studyto determinethe relationshipbetweenbody sizewith aweightof Bali cattleis weaning.The aim of this studyused24cows areweaningbaliaged06-12months.Variableswereevaluated, namely the size of thebody ofthe chestcircumference,body lengthand heightandin theanalysisby usingsimplecorrelationandregression.The results showedthe averagebody sizeisa rowof114,83 ±13,92 cm, 92,4 ± 4,70 cm and 86,56 ± 5,80 cm.The results ofthe analysisof correlation (r) betweenthesuccessivechest circumferencewithbody weight, body length withbody weightand heighttoweight0,841; 0.787and0.552. Flatness ofthe relationshipbetweenmeasures ofbodyweightshoweda relationshipbustmostcloselyfollowedby the lengthor height.The conclusion ofthis studyis the size-body size hasa positivecorrelationwithbody weight inBali cattleweaning.chestcircumferencecanthusbe used asa parameterfordetermining theweight.
