Abstract
This study aims to determine the population dynamics of Bali cattle in Mataram City.By calculating the sum of cattle out put, natural increase and performance of reproduction.Reaseach was done in Mataram City from Nopember 2014 - months January 2015 was analytical descreaptive which was done by using the survey method, on 39 respondents. The result showed the composition of Bali cattle were 27.44 % of the bulls and 72. 37 %were cows. The percentage of bull calves, bullock and bulls were 9.49 %, 5.84 % and 12.41 % respectively while the heifer calves, heifer and cows were 40.14 %, 13.87 % and 18.36 %respectivity. Birth rate was 63.64 % of cows or 25.55% % of total number of population, while the mortality was 8.76 % of the total number of population,so it can be caculalated the natural increase was 16.46 %. The percentage of calves crops 43.6±0.63, calving interval 11.84±1.95, the age at first time expose to bull 26.58±3.44 and 20.88±2,75, age at first calving 32.81±3.40, service perconception 2.10±1.04, weaning age 6.64±055, sex ratio 51.43% and 48.57%, days open 2.84±1.95, first estrus 19.29±2.41.
