Abstract

Composite is a combination of two or more materials which are gett new one in the material. In order to do this the manufacture of composite polyester with corn and fibers strengthened combned with sawdust wood sengon to earn the material properties are new .This study aims to to establish the nature the power of bending and tensile strength composite polyester the services of talismanic the fibers of its stem corn by filler sawdust wood sengon . Composite done with the methods hand lay up. material used in making composite this is the fibers of its stem corn with filler sawdust wood sengon .Tests carried out based on standard astm d3039 for testing pull astm d790 for testing of bending .To know the significance of the influence of variation faction volume fiber and long fibe, two ways analysis of variance ( anova ) is used with variations of fibers length are 10 mm , 30 mm , 50 mm and variation of the faction volume of fibers 10 % , 20 % and 30 % with the direction of the fiber is random . From the testing can be concluded that variations of the faction volume is significant on the tensile strength and the bending strength and length of fibers significant on the tensile and bending strength .In testing of tensile it is the obtained tensile strength highest at 8,99 mpa with fibers length is 50 mm, fraction of volume 30 % and tensile strength is lowest at 5.00 mpa with fibers length is 10 mm, fraction volume of 10 % .While the value ofr bending strength is highest at14,29 mpa with length fibers 50 mm, fraction volume 30 % and value of bending strength lowest at 10,24 mpa with length of fibers is 10 mm with fraction volume 10 % .
