Abstract

This study intended to determine the community structure of Mollusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) in the intertidal region on the coast of East Lombok Poton Bako. The sampling method is done using line and squared transects. The variables of this study include the type and number of Molluscs (Gastropod and Bivalvia) and environmental factors (pH, salinity, and temperature). Based on the results of the study, it was found that 931 Mollusca individuals consisted of 15 species. Of the 15 Mollusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) species found, 9 species from the Gastropod class were Cerithidea cingulata, Telescopium telescopium, Terebralia palustris, Natica vitellus, Nassarius pullus, Monodonta labio, Nerita planospira, Nerita undata, and Clithon oualaniensis. From the Bivalvia class there are 6 species, Andara antiquata, Geloina erosa, Gafrarium tumidum, Anomalodiscus squamosus, Psammotea elongata, and Saccostrea cucullata. The diversity index value of Mollusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) species in the study location was 2.14 (classified as moderate), and the evenness index value of Mollusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) species at the study location was 0.79 (classified as high) which showed a pattern of Mollusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) distribution evenly at the study site. Dominance index of Mollusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) in the study location was 0.21 (classified as low). Measurement of environmental factors (pH, temperature, and salinity) at the study site is still relatively good for the survival of Molluscs
