Abstract
This study aims to describe the values of character strengthening in Sasak puppets, and describe the character building of earthquake victims children through Sasak puppet games in Salut Village, Kayangan, North Lombok Regency. The method used is to interpreted puppet shows and transform into Sasak puppet games. The conclusion we got was that Wayang Sasak with the main character Wong Menak can be interpreted as the main people because they are always able to triumph on each journey of their lives. This is because of his ability to manage the five characters that exist in his friends and united in him self. Thus, the character of Wong Menak himself is a unified whole in understanding the values of character strengthening contained in the Sasak puppets. We then transformed these values into a form of puppet shows and made new puppets in an effort to strengthen the character of earthquake victims children in Salut Village. From the various activities carried out, there has been significant progress.
