The test was consisted of three categories of phrasal verb which are transparent, semi- transparent, and idiomatic. To support the data from the test, a close-ended questionnaire must be filled after they finished the test. The result of the test showed that 65% students got low score in the test and the result from the questionnaire showed that most of students agreed that lack of learning, regularity of exposure and mental barriers were the main problems.
