Abstract

This is study carried out moral values of The Pursuit of Happyness movie. The problem of this research is formulated as follows: what are the moral values related from Gardner’s story?. which moral values is most dominant in The Pursuit of Happyness movie ?, and what is the educational relevance reveal in The Pursuit of Happyness movie ? this research is aimed to findings out moral values and explaining the educational relevance. After that, the result of this study expected to enrich literary knowledge for student in this research the researcher uses Qualitative method. The data of this research is in The Pursuit of Happyness movie and supported by various journals, books, and article. The result indicates that the moral values in the movie like patience, hard working, love and caring, responsibility, honesty, friendship, kindship, peace loving, loyalty, and discipline. From analyzing moral values hopefully it can build the good character for us as a future teacher and finally we can give an inspiration to the students.
