Abstract

Jajar Legowo is the arrangement of rice plants by adjusting the spacing, so that the population increases and the number of plants that get more side effects compared to the usual planting method. This study aims to: (1) Know the income of rice farmers with legowo row planting system technology. (2) Knowing the effect of applying legowo row planting system technology to farmer production and income. (3) Identifying the constraints faced by farmers in implementing legowo row planting system technology. The research was conducted in Ampenan Subdistrict consisting of 10 Kelurahan and 2 Kelurahan using technique purposive sampling , namely North Ampenan Village and Pejarakan Karya Village, each village was taken by a farmer group. The determination of the number of respondents was carried out using Quota Sampling and was determined as many as 40 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by interviewing techniques using a schedule questionair or interview quide. Data were analyzed using analysis of production, income, and T test at the 5% real level. So that the results of the study were: (a) The production of rice in the legowo row planting system was 10,715 kg/ha, greater than the production of rice in the legowo row system, which was 7,135 kg/ha, resulting in an increase of 3,580. Kg / Ha. (b) The income of legowo row planting system rice is Rp. 36,509,822.4/Ha, which is greater than the income of legowo row planting system, which is Rp. 21,764,137 / ha. 14,745,685.4/Ha. Obstacles and obstacles faced by respondent farmers in running rice farming through the row planting system in Ampenan District include: irrigation systems (12.5%), pest attacks (43.75%), labor (0%), and lack of skills in TK planting (43.75%).
