Abstract

he content of sorghum stem brix ranges from 13-18 % while the productivity of sorghum in dry land sandy soil is generally still relatively low (1-3 tones/ha). Research on theinfluence of N,P and K as a multi nutrients fertilizer (phonska) and fitosan as a phyto hormon on the levels of brix in thestems and yield of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) in the sandy soil of dry land of North Lombok District,was intended to find ways to increase brix levels and sorghum produktivity on dry land. This field experiment used a factorial randomized block design consisting of phonska 3 levels,namely P0, 0kg/Ha (control), P150,150kg/Ha, P300, 300kg/Ha of phonska and fitosan 2 levels, F0 (control) and F5, 5 ml/liter of water was applied. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 6 combinations of treatments namely control (P0F0), without Phonska and Fitosan 5 ml/liter (P0F5), Phonska fertilizer 150 kg/ha and without Fitosan (P150F0), Phonska fertilizer 150 kg/ha and Fitosan 5ml/liter (P150F5), Phonska fertilizer 300 kg and without Fitosan (P300F0), Phonska fertilizer 300 kg/ha and Fitosan 5ml/liter (P300F5) with a plot size of 3,5 m x 5 m. The data of the research results was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there was any a significant different among the means of treatment then was continued analyzed using a 5% HSD Test. The results showed that phonska and fitosan increased brix levels so that they reached the optimum point at the age of 86 days after sowing(DAS) namely 19.34% for brix level. In addition doses of Phonska fertilizer of 300 kg/ha and Fitosan 5ml/liter gaved a better results for the of sorghum plants reached at 3,40 t/ha for phoska and 2,92 t/ha for fitosan.
