Abstract

This study is aimed at describing the difficulties which are faced by student teachers during teaching internship and also to solve the problem in designing lesson plan based on 2013 curriculum. This research is qualitative one, the data were collected through interview and document analysis.There were 10 lesson plans from 10 student teachers analyzed and matched using the checklist of 2013 curriculum lesson plans based on the regulation of the Minister of National Education No.22 year 2016. From thi study, it’s found several problems faced by student teachers in designing a lesson plan during teaching internship. They were formulating indicators/objectives, analyzing basic competence (KD) to the indicator, selecting the appropriate method, and selecting evaluation/assessment. The causes of those problems are because they do not understand the systematic in designing lesson plan and lack of information.
