Abstract
This study examines moral values of the characters in Forrest Gump’s Movie and finds out the effects of moral values of the main characters to the other characters in the movie. The resarch established using the Dynamic Structuralism theory to find out the result of the resarch.This Study is descriptive qualitative method. The instrument of this study was the movie of Forrest Gump. This study employed the data in the scenes, dialogs between characters and pictures. It is concluded that moral values of the movie are honesty, self-confidence, loyalty, love and affection. And the influences of moral values of Jenny and Gump‟s Mother build the characters in Forrest life, Jenny as motivator and Gump‟s Mother as inspirer. It is expected that moral values build the good character for us as a future teacher and finally be able to inspire the students.
