Abstract
Nowdays, literature is an important subject to be studied since it reflects every single aspect of human life such as happiness, kindness, honesty, bravery, and other urgent elements. One of the literatures that contains every single aspect of human life is motion picture or movie. Akeelah and The Bee movie, contains a lot of educational and moral values for the audience. all of the main figure or character in this movie always reflect to educational and moral values that is acceptable to the audience in general. So, it is very good to do an analysis of the educational and moral values in it. This research aims to describe how are the educational and moral values in Akeelah and The Bee movie can be implicated to the main figure’s character building. This research is Qualitative Research. Sources of data in this study are the entire contents of Akeelah and The Bee movie which concerns in building up the main figure’s character. which is classified into two parts, namely educational and moral. The primary data in this research is dialogue or utterances between characters in the form of words, and the secondary data is visual evidence (picture). The techniques used in data collection are the direct observation methods and the content analysis method and using Qualitative Research as an analysis technique. The expected outcome of this research is that there is a clear description of how are the educational and moral values in Akeelah and The Bee movie can be implicated to the main figure’s character building.
