Abstract

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA KELAS VII B SMPN 2 DONGGO DALAM MENULIS BERITA TAHUN AJARAN 2020/2021 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan siswa kelas VII B SMPN 2 Donggo dalam Menulis teks Berita Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Metode pengumpulan data dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif yang diperoleh melalui hasil evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Kemampuan menulis teks berita dari segi struktur tergolong ke dalam kategori cukup. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dari klasifikasi nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 65.32. (2) Kemampuan menulis teks berita dari segi kebahasaan tergolong ke dalam kategori cukup. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dari klasifikasi nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 65.32. Kata kunci : Kemampuan Siswa, Menulis Berita ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF THE ABILITY OF STUDENTS OF CLASS VII B SMPN 2 DONGGO IN WRITING NEWS OF THE 2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR This study aims to analyze the ability of class VII B students of SMPN 2 Donggo in Writing News Texts for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with documentation data collection method. While the data analysis in this study is a quantitative method obtained through the evaluation results. The results of the study show that: (1) The ability to write news texts in terms of structure belongs to the sufficient category. These results were obtained from the classification of the students' average score, which was 65.32. (2) The ability to write news texts from a linguistic perspective belongs to the sufficient category.
