Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of adding Kepok Banana peel (Musa balbisiana colla) powder in commercial feed to improve the color of nemo fish (Amphipriion ocellaris). Test animals used in this study were nemo fish with a length of 2-3 cm. The method used in this study was an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications to obtain 15 experimental units, namely P0 (without the addition of banana peel powder), P1 (5% banana peel powder) P2 (10% banana peel powder), P3 (15% banana peel powder), P4 (20% banana peel powder). The results showed that there was a significant influence on the level of color brightness, length growth, weight growth, but no significant effect on survival rates, so further tests were conducted to find out the best treatment in producing color enhancement in nemo fish, it was found that P3 (skin powder 15% crossbar) is the best treatment for color brightness with a percentage of 26.30. The best treatment for the growth of absolute length and absolute weight is P4 (20% banana peel powder) with a percentage of length 0.60 cm and a weight percentage of 0.64 g.
