Abstract

Based on the findings and conclusions, the writer would like to give some suggestions as follows: 1. As the main key to success in the teaching and learning process, it is hoped that English teachers will be more creative and innovative in choosing teaching strategies to increase their knowledge and competence, to optimize the potential of their students, both academic and non-academic. And can improve discipline in teaching by increasing the use of methods, approaches, strategies and learning techniques as well as learning media. For schools: The school should be more intensive on the emphasis Permendiknas No. 57 of 2021 related to the continuity of the learning process that is more creative, innovative and directed, both teachers andstudents because research results show that students can improve their Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor abilities only with a conducive classroom environment. 2. It is hoped that the principal and the education office will be more assertive in taking a policy on teacher discipline and aspects of learning strategies. Conducting workshops and training to improve the ability and understanding of teachers regarding the competencies they must possess. 3. For further researchers, especially those who have the same problem and are interested in conducting research, it is recommended that this research can be used as a reference 3. Given that this research is very simple and what is produced from this research is not the end, it is necessary to conduct further research on other competencies. namely personality competence, professional competence and social competence in order to understand the competencies that must be possessed when becoming a teacher. Hopefully there will be further research as well to perfect this technique
