Abstract

id Milkfish (Chanos chanos) is a brackish water commodity that has the potential to be cultivated, apart from its relatively stable selling price, its maintenance is also quite easy. This study aims to analyze the effect of adding fish oil and vitamin E in artificial feed on the growth of milkfish (Chanos chanos) nener and determine the appropriate dose of fish oil and vitamin E to increase the growth of milkfish (Chanos chanos). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Mataram University, West Nusa Tenggara Province for 45 days starting from September to November 2021. The method used was an experimental method designed using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of on four treatments and three replications. The treatments tested were P1 (control), P2 (MI 1 ml and VE 0.02 g / 100 g feed), P3 (MI 1 ml and VE 0.04 g / 100 g feed) and P4 (MI 1 ml and VE 0.06 g/100 g). The growth rate of absolute weight and absolute length growth was obtained at the highest value in P3 with values for each parameter, namely 0.53 grams and 3.02 cm, while the lowest was in treatment A with values of 0.25 g and 1.51 cm, respectively.
