Abstract

HURYAH EID 111 051 This thesis entitled “An Analysis of Students’ Perceptions towards Lecturers’ Feedback in Their Writing: A Study at English Department of FKIP Mataram University in Academic Year 2015/2016”. This study was aimed to find types of scoring method, feedback that most frequently used and students’ perceptions toward their lecturers’ feedback. The sample of this study was 45 students on 2 , 4 th , and 6 th semester in English Department of FKIP Mataram University which used quota purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaire, interview, and feedback evidence. In questionnaire, the researcher used close and open ended questions to obtain information about students’ perception of lecturers’ feedback which consisted of fifteen of close questions and five of open questions. The data from close ended question were calculated and then presented in percentage based on the choices, while the data from the open ended question were classified based on the similarity of responses. Interview was used to obtain additional information to complete the data. The result of this study shows that:
