Abstract

Several strategies were taken by banks to improve the quality and variety of financial services, where a number of banks developed digital banking internally (in house) that focused on multichannel delivery, especially m-banking, so that the function of bank services became more efficient. One of the model constructions that can presumably prove the acceptance and use of m-banking technology is the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. The purpose of this study is to prove that performance expectations, business expectations, social influence, facility conditions, gender, and age have a direct and significant effect on the intention to behave using m-banking, as well as to prove that intention to behave has a positive and significant effect on behavior using m-banking. Research locations in 2 cities and 8 regencies in West Nusa Tengara Province. The data collection method uses a survey sample, with a total sample of 100 m-banking user customers. The sampling technique uses the judgement sampling method, while the data collection tool uses a questionnaire using the google form application. Hypothesis testing using SEM-PLS analysis tools. The results of the study proved that of the 4 variables, namely performance expectations, business expectations, social support, and facility conditions, only business expectations did not have a significant effect, while performance expectations, social support, and facility conditions had a significant effect on the intention to behave using m-banking. The effect of sex and age moderation has no effect on behavioral intentions and behavior using m-banking. The intention to behave has a significant effect on the behavior of using m-banking in conventional banks and Islamic banks in NTB Province. Behavior using m-banking can be measured through intention and is considered an important variable in the acceptance of technology, it is explicitly expressed that the intention of behavior actually leads to the use of technology.
