Abstract

This research aimed at finding students’ autonomous learning at MA PK Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani. This research was a qualitative with case study design, it delved into a specific phenomenon and provided an in-depth description of the problem. this study used purposive sampling where students were chosen purposively, the participants were nine of second grade students with five women and four men. To gather the data, this research used two data collection methods; observation and interview. The result showed that students' self-adjustment was in the category of struggling, and there were three main obstacles felt by students during online learning which were related to themselves, availability of technological supports and the teacher. In term of students’ agency we found that Each student has multiple opinions toward the motivation ot the willingnes to do the given task. They are motivated, deteremined and challenged. They had encountered obstacles yet, they were willing to go through the obstacles. In term of the factors that support and hinder their autonomous learning, the result showed that most of the students complained about all the variables. Students just proclaimed that none of those variable supports their learning instead they prefer to return to offline class where the can acquire all the variables supports.
