Abstract

Speaking is very crucial in our lives. Students will be able to converse with one another and develop into wise speakers in the classroom and in everyday life if they have solid speaking abilities. When it comes to teaching speaking, teachers might use a variety of tactics. The teacher, on the other hand, should choose an approach that is suited for the student's needs and subject. In a learning process, the teaching strategy has a significant impact on the students' understanding. The major goals of this study are to: (1) outline the instructional technique for speaking. The nature was the qualitative study. The teachers and learners of MA PALAPA NUSANTARA Selebung served as the research subjects and data sources in this study. Observation, interview, and documentation were employed as data gathering methods. The data revealed that English teachers at MA PALAPA NUSANTARA Selebung employ a variety of tactics to help students develop their speaking skills, which is the primary purpose of learning English. Role-playing, group discussions, picture strip stories, and Structure and Vocabulary Practice are several most common tactics used by English teachers in MA PALAPA NUSANTARA Selebung to develop students' speaking skills. According to the data, English teachers at MA PALAPA NUSANTARA Selebung use a range of strategies to help students improve their speaking skills, which is the fundamental goal of English study. Role-playing, picture strip tales, group discussion, and Structure and Vocabulary Practice are some of the most common strategies used by English teachers at MA PALAPA NUSANTARA Selebung to improve students' speaking abilities. Since each instructor teaches a different class with a varied class level, students' ability, and class setting, each teacher employs various strategies in a unique manner.
