Abstract

The aims of this research was to observed the quality of final examination question item in second semester of mathematics grade VIII curriculum 2013 in all of junior high school at Mataram city in the academic year 2014/2015 until 2016/2017. Which were observed from validity, reliability, level of difficulty, distinguish capacity and deceivereffectivity. This research is descriptive research. Data was achieve with documentation and test were: syllabus, question, key answer and student answer. The result research of final examination question item in second semester of mathematics grade VIII curriculum 2013 in all of junior high school at Mataram city in the academic year 2014/2015 until 2016/2017 were: (1) 8 question items in academic year 2014/2015 (20%) has good quality, 17 question items (42,5%) has standard quality and 15 question items (37,5%) has not good quality, (2) 9 question items in academic year 2015/2016 (22,5%) has good quality, 14 question items (35%) has standard quality and 17 question items (42,5%) has not good quality, and (3) 10 question items in academic year 2016/2017 (25%) has good quality, 13 question items (32,5%) has standard quality and 17 question items (42,5%) has not good quality. The result revealed that final examination question item in second semester of mathematics grade VIII curriculum 2013 in the academic year 2014/2015, 2015/2016, and 2016/2017 were relative equal.
