Abstract

Abstract. Masalah teknis usahatani yang umumnya dihadapi oleh petani adalah serangan hama dan penyakit tanaman (HPT) dan pemupukan. Meskipun banyak upaya telah dilakukan, termasuk membasmi hama dengan pestisida sintetis, kedua masalah tersebut hingga saat ini belum dapat diatasi secara tuntas, bahkan persoalannya cenderung makin meluas dan sulit diatasi. Dalam paper ini, penulis menjelaskan dan menawarkan konsep usahatani sehat dan teknologi aplikatifnya sebagai alternatif solusi untuk mengatasi masalah usahatani tersebut dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sumberdaya alami lokal. Prinsipnya, masalah teknis tersebut diatasi secara terpadu dengan menyehatkan dan meningkatkan resistensi tanaman terhadap serangan HPT. Secara teknis, tanaman dipasok unsur hara esensial lengkap dan silikat secara langsung melalui daun atau/dan batang. Abstract. The technical problems commonly faced by farmers are pest and disease attacks (PDAs) and fertilizer application. Although many efforts have been carried out, including killing the pests by using synthetic pesticides, up to now those problems remain unsolved and tend to become worst. In this paper, the author describes and proposes a healthy farming concept and its applicative technology as an alternative solution for the farming problems by optimizing the utilization of locally available natural resources. Principally, those technical problems are handled simultaneously by improving the healthiness and resistance of the plant to PDAs. Technically, the plant is supplied directly with complete-essential nutrients through its leaf or/and steam.
