Abstract

This research aims to find out the kinds of illocutionary acts in interacting of Bimanese in facebook. This data is qualitative research by describing the data related to this research by using Facebook status of the Bima groups, identifying utterances of illocutionary acts, classifying them into their types by applying the theory of Austin (1962). Furthermore, the impact is analyzed by reading some online news related to the illocutionary act data. The data are in the form of postings on Facebook media and interviews conducted through chat with chat media on Facebook which were taken through screenshots. The results of this study indicate that 22 utterances are categorized as illocutionary acts, where 9. utterances are behabites, 3 verdictives, exercitives, 5 comissives and 2 expositives. This illocutionary act provides an understanding that the use of illocutionary in the Bima language has very diverse meanings. Thus, the impact is known as perlocutionary action. Further comprehensive research is needed to obtain consistency of research results
