Abstract
Myasthenic Crisis is a worsening complication from a disease called Myasthenia Gravis (MG) with symptoms such as severe respiratory muscle weakness, resulting in respiratory failure and a need for an intubation and mechanic ventilation. The purpose of writing this literature review is to comprehensively discuss about Myasthenic Crisis and its treatment. This is a literature review article. The author uses several online sites such as Pubmed, Reseaschgate, and Google Scholar to aid in the search for relating article. About 21 article was used in this literature review. This literature review covers definition, epidemiology, clinical manifestation, diagnosis, treatment, complication & prognosis, as well as the difference between Myasthenic Crisis, and Cholinergic Crisis. The author hopes this article could provide more in-depth understanding of Myasthenic Crisis.
