Abstract
t Reye's syndrome is a rare disease that affects children and can cause a fatal condition in the form of acute non-inflammatory encephalopathy with liver failure and fatty infiltration. The use of aspirin for the treatment of viral infections in children is considered to be one of the major risk factors for Reye's syndrome. The exact pathophysiology of Reye's Syndrome is still not fully understood. The lack of full understanding of the Reye's syndrome pathophysiology indicates that there are many other conditions and etiology that are also still unknown.
