Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui besarnya pendapatan petani dalam usahatani bawang merah,menganalisis prospek pengembangan usahatani bawang merah ditinjau dari aspek teknis, aspek ekonomi, dan aspek pasar,mengetahui kendala apa saja dalam usahatani bawang merah.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, penentuan daerah sampel ditetapkan secara purposive sampling di Kecamatan Sape Kabupaten Bima yaitu Desa Parangina dan Desa Rasabou. Penentuan responden secara quota sampling sebanyak 40 orang, dan penentuan responden pada masing-masing desa dilakukan secara acidental sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis pendapatan,dan revenue cost ratio(R/C).Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa prospek pengembangan usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Sape Kabupaten Bimamemiliki prospek yang baik untuk dikembangkan, dilihat dari aspek teknis usahatani bawang merah sesuai untuk diusahakan dan memiliki potensi lahansebesar 310 Ha, aspek ekonomi menunjukkan layak dengan pendapatan permusimtanam sebesar Rp.39.762.289,44/LLG atau Rp.113.121.733,84/Ha,sertaR/C ratio sebesar 3,80, dan aspek pasar komoditi bawang merah masih memiliki potensi pasar.Kendaladalam usahatani bawang merah yaitu aspek teknis serangan hama dan penyakit, cuaca dan iklim, dan kurangnya penyuluhan. Aspek ekonomi harga jual yang tidak stabil dan harga saprodi mahal. Serta aspek pasar kurangnya informasi hargajualdan tidak ada tempat penyimpanan This research aims to knowthe income of farmers in onion farming, analyzing the prospect of developing onion farming in termsof technical aspect, economic aspect, and market aspect,knowing any obstacles in onion farming.The method researchused is descriptive method, determination of sample area was determined by purposivesampling in Sape Sub-District of Bima Regency, that is Parangina Village and Rasabou Village. Determination of respondents in Qouta Samplingas 40 people, and determination of respondents in each village is done an Acindental Sampling. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, income analysis, and revenue cost ratio (R/C).The results of the study show that Prospect of Developing on Onion Farming at Sape Sub-District in Bima Regencyhave good prospects to developfrom the technical aspects of onion farming is suitable for cultivation and has a land potential of 310 Ha, economic aspectsshow feasibility with planting season income of Rp.39.762.289,44/LLG or Rp.113.121.733,84/Ha,and R/C ratio of 3,80, and the market aspects, the onion commodity still has market potential. Constraints in the onion farming are technical aspects, pest and disease attacks, weather and climate, and lack of counseling. Economic aspects, unstable selling prices, and price of production facilities is expensive. As well market aspects, lack of selling price information, and there is no storage place for production
