Abstract
Duabanga (Duabanga moluccana Bl.) Is one of the exellent commodities West Nusa Tenggara Province. Wood can product of this species for construction, building material, and furniture. The species has developed for people forest in Lombok Island, because the growth is relatively fast. This type has been developed in private forest on the island of Lombok, because growth is relatively fast. To optimize the results should be assessed recycling or proper harvest age. This study estimates the growth and function of estimating the age of felling stands Duabanga based on maximum volume. The research was conducted on the People Forest in the village of Desa Stiling Pemepek and Central Lombok with the manufacture of a circle on a sample plot stands from age 2-18 years, a total of 771 trees, in a variety of cropping patterns. At tuber intercropping patterns when aged 24 years, with average growth of 0.28 m3/tree, production at the end of cycle of 6.84 m3/tree. Coffee intercropping pattern occurs when the age of 23 years with an average growth of 0.29 m3/tree and production at the end of the cycle of 6.77 m3/tree.
