Abstract

The aims of this study are to find out the online resources used by 10th and 11th grade at SMAN 1 Gunungsari, the online learning problems and students agency in online learning during Covid-19 Pandemic. This study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this study were 10th and 11th grade students in OSIS organisation at SMAN 1 Gunungsari, 2020/2021 academic year which consisted of 30 students. The needs of why conducting this study is to find out the preference online apps/resources for the learners to develop their agency. This is viewed important since it helps them to achieve their learning goals and solved the problems in online learning. At SMAN 1 Gunungsari, the students stated their goals is to be able to speak English In order to make friends with foreigners /build connection in order to get proper future job (dispostional agency) . They used YouTube , WhatsApp, tiktok, for the most used resources with 15,24% as the learning aids in order to enhance their knowledge, solving learning obstacle, and to fulfill the task (motivational agency). And the Whatsapp group for online discussion and collaboration either in peer or group work (positional).
