Abstract

The seaweed drying system is in an oven using heat from a gas stove which will be controlled using an Arduino Uno. This system has the advantage that it can help seaweed farmers to dry seaweed without requiring a long time, without requiring a large enough area, and the drying process is not determined by the weather. This system uses a heat source from a gas stove and also a Load Cell for automatic weighing, and uses a DHT22 sensor which can read the desired temperature to produce the desired level of seaweed dryness. The drying process for seaweed is still done manually, which requires quite a long drying time for seaweed and requires a fairly large area for drying. It is hoped that by carrying out this research, we can create a tool for drying seaweed so that it can speed up drying time and does not require a large area.
