Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has the potential to develop solar energy by creating solar power plants in each region. One type of solar panel that can be utilized is polycrystalline solar panels with a series-parallel arrangement model. There are four variations in this study, the first variation is four clusters in series (ss), the second variation is two clusters-two clusters in series and parallelized (sp), the third variation is two clusters-two clusters in parallel and serialized (ps), the fourth variation is four clusters in parallel (pp). Data collection was carried out for 3 days from 10:00 to 14:00 Wita, with data recording every 20 minutes at the Faculty of Engineering, Mataram University. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of variations in seriesparallel series of solar panel clusters on output power and efficiency. The results of the study are the answer to the research objectives, showing that the average output power for the ss variation is 1,80 Watt, the sp variation is 0,78 Watt, the ps variation is 2,76 Watt, and the pp variation is 0,82 Watt. Then the average efficiency for the ss variation is 8,07%, the sp variation is 3,40%, the ps variation is 13,07%, and the pp variation is 2,29%.
