Abstract

Tobacco plants, especially virginia tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) is one of the plantation crops currently cultivated by farmers and companies. One of the nutrients needed by tobacco plants is micro and macro nutrients in relatively large quantities, including potassium (K). This study has been conducted which aims to determine the content of potassium nutrients in tobacco planting land assisted by PT. Bentoel on Lombok Island. The research method used is a descriptive method with survey techniques including field observation and soil analysis in the laboratory. The potassium nutrient status in East Lombok tobacco fields ranged from 1.01-2.94 meq% (very high) and ranged from 0.43-0.91 meq% (high) and the potassium nutrient status in all Central Lombok tobacco fields ranged from 1.93-2.25 meq% (very high).
