Abstract

Operating room is a place to perform the surgery so that the patient's organs free exposure. Therefore, there is needed by design HVAC system in the operating room as prevention of disease getting worse. Profile flow diffuser bursts should be because the Indonesian health ministry recommended that the flow rate around the patient is about 0.10 m / s - 0.46 m /s. Position return grille adapted to the operating room layout by first simulating flow form for multiple positions engineered. To performing simulations is use software Autodesk simulation CFD 2015 and in designing models using Autodesk Inventor 2015. Operating room design is measuring 6 m x 6 m x 3 m according to the size of the minor operating room with an area of 2.7 m2 required diffuser (6 panels). The simulation model is made consists of 4 models with differences in each model, based on the layout of the exhaust diffuser and return grille. The simulation results show the four models are created, the best model of TA-1 with an average speed of 0.4 m /s at 1 m - 1.8 m from the diffuser towards the patient, the size of the return exhaust grille: 0.61 m x 0.36 m and the layout of the exhaust at the center of each side wall (4 exhaust return grille).
