Abstract

─ This study aimed to determine the effect of guided-inqury learning model with the science process skill on physics learning outcomes grade in SMA Negeri 1 Kediri. This was quasi-experimental research with posttest only control group design. The study population is all students grade XI SMAN 1 Kediri and sample is students class XI IPA 1 as the experimental group and the students class XI IPA 2 as the control group is selected by sampling total. Average posttest value obtained in experimental class was 69,55 and in control class was 61.59. Data mastery of posttest were analyzed using t-test polled variance. Hypotesis research shows that tcount=2,31 greater than ttable=2,02 with dk=43 and at significant level of 5%. It means that there was significant guided-inquiry learning model with the science process skill on physics learning outcomes grade XI in SMAN 1 Kediri academic year 2016/2017.
