Abstract
The increasing of deforestation and forest degradation is the result of pressures and disturbances to the forest area. Therefore, forest management must involve communities around the forest. One of the government policies to increase community participation in forest management is forestry partnership. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation process of forestry partnership between BKPHL Rinjani Barat Pelangan Tastura with Rempek Village community, and to know the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation process of forestry partnership. Data collection used in this research is interview with data descriptively analyzed. Based on eight sustainabiling Common-Pool Resources (CPRs) institution principles by Ostrom (1990) use in the implementation process of forest partnership. The result shows the value of each party involved in the forest partnership is high. These principles include clarity of boundaries and management, conformity, collective regulation, monitoring, implementation of sanctions, conflict resolution mechanisms, recognition of the right to govern, and part of management system linkages. According to SWOT analysis, it is found that the factors to be strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. So, it brings strategies for enhancement and sustainability of forestry partnership program with how to optimize the partnership program in order to maintain and enhance the diversity of types of potential resources to be managed with a maximum in order to the result obtained are more optimal.
