Abstract
This thesis entitled ―A Study of the Psychological Aspects of the Main Character in ―Inkheart‖; A Novel by Cornelia Funke ‖ was aimed to identify and explain personality of the main character in ―Inkheart‖ viewed from Sigmund Freud theory of psychology The Id, the Ego, and the Superego, and describe how the psychological aspects affect main character‘s personality. The purpose of this study is to identify and explain of the main character in ―Inkheart‖ viewed from point of view of Sigmund Freud‘s theory of the Psychology the Id, the Ego, and the Superego and also to describe the way the psychological aspects affect the main character‘s personality. The writer uses qualitative research method in conducting this research
