Abstract

-This study aims to determine differences in physics learning outcomes using problem-based learning with guided inquiry learning models in class X students of SMA 1 Bayan in the 2016/2017 Academic Year. This type of research is quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bayan in the 2016/2017 school year which was divided into 4 classes. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling technique with students of class X MIPA2 as experimental class I with a total of 25 people and class X MIPA1 as experimental class II with a total of 24 people. The data collected consists of the results of learning physics (in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains) in the subject matter of motion with constant speed and acceleration. Data collection techniques of cognitive learning outcomes using the test method, while affective and psychomotor data use observation sheets. Previous test instruments have been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and differentiation. The data obtained are first tested for normality and homogeneity, then proceed with testing hypotheses using t- test polled variance. is 2.14 and is 2.01 at 47 and with a significant level of 5%. Because > then is accepted and is rejected which indicates that there are differences in physics learning outcomes using problem-based learning models with guided inquiry in class X students of SMA 1 Bayan in the 2016/2017 school year.
