Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of quantum learning model with physics card game technique (X1) to learning outcomes of science (Y); (2) the influence of motivation (X2) to learning outcomes of science (Y); (3) the interaction effect between (X1) and (X2) to (Y). The type of this research is experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial design. The population in this study is all student’s of class VIII SMP Negari 10 Mataram year lesson 2017/2018. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique and obtained class VIII-J as experimental class and class VIII-I as control class. Data were taken using multiple choice test to know learning outcomes and questionnaire to know motivation. The results data were analyzed using two way variance analysis (anava) with 5% significant level. The result shows that Fcount for influence (X1) = 4.89; (X2) = 33.75; and the interaction between (X1) with (X2) is 0.24 with Ftable = 4.01. For the effects of (X1) and (X2) there is Fcount ≥ Ftable whereas the interaction effect between (X1) and (X2) is obtained Fcount < Ftabel. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is influence of quantum learning model with physics card game technique to students learning outcomes of science; (2) there is influence of motivation to students learning outcomes of science; (3) no there is an interaction effect between the learning model and the motivation of students' learning outcomes.
