This research entitled “A Study on Reduplication Systems of Sasak Language in Dialect Meriak-Meriku”. This study was conducted at Gapura village in Pujut Subdistrict of Central Lombok. This study focuses on the process of verbal reduplication in relation to its form, meaning and syntactic function. The populations of this research were all of verbal reduplication expressions, which exist and are communicated by the native speaker. The method of data analysis applied in this research is descriptive method that aims to give the description of verbal reduplication process in relation to its form, meaning and syntactic function. At the way of the research process, the researcher identified the data by using introspective data in which data identified are from the researcher as the native speaker. The writer also crosschecked the introspective data to the other native speaker in order to find out the truth and validation of data. The data analysis are done by applying the following steps, they are; data identification, comparison data, and explanation. The study find the process of reduplication in relation to its form, they are: Full Reduplication, Reduplication with Phonological Modification, Partial Reduplication, Reduplication on Nasal bases, Basic Reduplication with Single Affixation, Basic Reduplication with Complex affixation, and Single Affixation in Reduplication with Phonological Modification. The study is also identified those reduplications are connected into some of meanings; iterative, intensive, reciprocal, doing something without specific purpose, doing something just to kill the time. The important point that in nasal reduplication, the bases in transitive are derived to transitive verb.
