Abstract

This thesis entitles Metaphorical Expression In Anggun’s Songs In Album Of Snow On The Sahara. The terms being analyzed are the three types of metaphorical expression in the songs and the moral messages within the songs. This thesis used descriptive method and the method of collecting data used documentation method. Moreover, the population of this study was the songs in which are in the album of Snow On The Sahara and researcher took six songs as the sample. And in analyzing the data researcher uses pragmatic approach. After analyzing the data, the researcher found four expressions of implicit metaphor, five active metaphors, and one of absolute metaphor.
