Abstract
English is now still found as a difficult language for most Indonesian students. The difficulties of learning English are not only found at junior high school but also in an English department of university. One of the difficulties of learning English is vocabulary. There are three difficulties of students’ learning second language; difficult to choose meaning, form, and rules of speaking. Sometimes most of them didn’t know how to use the words in conversation or how combine the words into sentences. As we know, most of students’ at junior high school didn’t had enough knowledge about English before, it was caused by them that English is an uninterested study and no need to study well. Teaching English at beginner students should have an alternative teaching method. In this case, the teacher has an important function to make the teaching learning process is interesting. In this research, the researcher uses three of song lyric as media to teach his students’ which this study will investigate classes of words by using song lyric. It can be seen that the result of students scores had increase in each cycles.
