Abstract
The conservation of natural resources is an effort to preserve nature, so that humans and other living things can live in harmony. Ecotourism is a concept that combines tourism activities with conservation. In the development of Gunung Tunak Nature Tourism Park needs support from the community around the area. With the presence of Tunak Besopoq the group will assist the management in regional development and the need to develop human resources to assist the government in managing the area, as well as preparing human resources who have the ability to manage groups and play a role in regional development. The purpose of this research was to determine the capacity of Tunak Besopoq group and the forms of participation in the management of Gunung Tunak Nature Park. The capacity of the group was analyzed using the Minister of Forestry Regulation of the Tunak Besopoq group of capacities to get 780 in the main class, which showed that Tunak Besopoq's group had good institutional capacity to support the management of Gunung Tunak TWA in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia number P.57 / Menhut- ii / 2014 concerning guidelines for fostering and evaluating the capabilities of forest farmer groups. Participation of the Tunak Besopoq Group in terms of organizing and implementing the management of Gunung Tunak Nature Park is included in the fairly high category with an excess of 70%. Participation in monitoring and evaluating the management of Gunung Tunak Nature Park is included in the high category with a participation rate of 83.6%. As for participation in the planning of management of the Gunung Tunak Nature Park with the position of the Tunak Besopoq Group which is high with a percentage of involvement of 86.7%. Thus in general the level of participation of the Tunak Besopok group in the management of the Gunung Tunak Nature Tourism Park is in the fairly high category.
