Abstract
The data were obtained from the pre-test and the post-test given to both of experimental and control groups before and after treatments. The treatments were given three times in each group. In the first treatment, the writer gave the story book entitled “The Deer” to the experimental group and story from textbook entitled “Goldilock and Three Bears” to the control group. In the second treatment, the writer gave the story book entitled “Reed’s Friend Grasshopper” to the experimental group and the story from textbook entitled “The Chipmunk that Ran Away” to the control group and for the last treatment, the writer gave the story from internet entitled “Three Little Pigs” to the experimental group and the story from textbook entitled “The Cat and the Rabbit” to the control group.
