Abstract
This study aims to determine the process length of the Boucherie Method on tali bamboo using preservatives given and the penetration of preservatives on tali bamboothrough longitudinal measuremen. The longest life span of tali bamboo occur in P0 (water) treatment, i.e 14 days and theshortest life span of tali bamboo occur on P3 (15% concentration) i.e 7 days. The penetration of preservatives on tali bamboo is high. This can be seen in the result that show P2 (10% ) and P3 (15% ) treatments, both have 100% penetration(1,033.33 cm and 1,066.66 cm) . While P1 has the shortestpenetration of 92% (1,018.66 cm). Analysis of variance of these data indicate that the concentration of preservatives does not affect penetration.
