Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine the quality of physical and chemical some of kind fodder grasses with corn hull additive. This research has been at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Food Science, Faculty of Animal Science, Mataram University. The material used in this research are fodder grasses and corn hull. The research using experimental method and a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and each treatments were given 4 replication. The treatments consist of P1: Setaria spacelata grasses + additif dedak jagung 10%, P2: Paspalum atratum grasses + additif dedak jagung 10%, P3: Panicum maximum grasses + additif dedak jagung 10% dan P4: Brachiaria decumbens grasses + additif dedak jagung 10%. The variabels measured were physical qualities (smell, colour, texture, mushroom and pH) and chemical quality are pH and dry matter. Statistical analyse followed by Duncan’s test that corn hull significantly (P>0,05) of the chemical quality is dry matter. The results showed that corn hull additive was determine optimalyse value of pH in silage fodder grasses.
