Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the technical performance of solar energy which can be applicated at the pump, to determine the effectiveness of solar energy, economical analysis to pumping equipment that solar energy system. The method of this research was an experimental method where experiments conducted on a planned observation to obtain data that should be studied by the performance of the equipment being tested directly in the field. Design and retrieval the data by conducting a study literature and use computing design were used as a basis for planning and construction as well as experiments performed on the instrument. Performance of watering experiments bay different treatments on several observed variables, then were analyzed by using statistical approaches. A for pumping eglipment that using solar energy system was found that: solar energy input into electrical energy by 24 volts / day, daily power output to the needs of 40.843 watt hours / day, based on the calculation of the discharge planning of irrigation water requirement, it is necessary to irrigation water discharge of ± 97.908 m3/sec with consumptive water demand of 2,607 mm / day, and the water demand for land preparation of 200 mm / day. The amount of water that plants need for 128.983 mm / day after a predetermined by the amount of the provision of irrigation water (I) and precipitation (P) as well as the changes in water reserves (ΔS) 0Zr, Based on the calculation of economic analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Solar panels more benefit compare with the use of household electricity, and obtained Rp. 1.284,483/year to be incurred when using household electricity.
