Abstract

1. Perbedaan bahasa antara bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa inggris tidak terlalu berpengaruh pada algoritma LZW untuk kompresi pada file teks karena algoritma LZW bekerja dengan memanfaatkan runtutan karakter yang berulang seperti imbuhan , kata kerja, kata sifat ,dan kata benda pada teks bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa inggris dalam melakukan kompresi. 2. File teks dengan tipe txt mempunyai rasio kompresi yang paling baik diantara file doc dan rtf karena file teks dengan tipe txt tidak mempunyai header seperti file doc dan rtf yang akan berpengaruh saat pembentukan kamus saat melakukan kompresi sehingga
