Abstract
Flooding problems at the watershed of Padolo often appear after the administration of the regional growth at Bima Regency and Bima Town, it’s caused by the development of structures and infrastructure that is more concentrated in Bima Town. Land use changes in Bima Town impact on river Padolo which often overflowed during the rainy season. Padolo watershed that passes through densely populated residential areas, commerce and office space has an area of 149,60 km2 watershed and the main river length 38,10 km. In this study, the method used to calculate the design of flood discharge is Unit of Hidrograph Syntetic Nakayasu, Snyder, and Gama I method. In analyzing the data previously conducted trials with test data consistency by RAPS test, and then performed analysis of the average basin rainfall using arithmetic average method (algebra). Furthermore, the design rainfall calculated by the Log Pearson type III. The results of the design flood discharge analysis showed an increase in design of flood discharge after the change of land use. It can be seen from the changes in the value of the previous drainage coefficient 0,51 before the change of land use to be 0,62 after the change of land use. The design of flood discharge for time frequent 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, 25 years, 50 years, and 100 years by Nakayasu method before the change of land use are 96,257 m3/s, 126,017 m3/s, 147,348 m3/s, 155,357 m3s, 159,528 m3/s, 199,082 m3/s, 223,241 m3/s. While the design of flood discharge for time frequent 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, 25 years, 50 years, and 100 years by Nakayasu method after the change of land use are 139,085 m3/s, 182,735 m3/s, 214,024 m3/s, 225,770 m3/s, 231,888 m3/s, 289,905 m3/s, 325,339 m3/s. From the end of the design flood discharge analysis, obtained flood discharge changes significantly as a result of changes in land use occurred in Bima Town.
